Pennant Report - Winners

An Amazing resolute Ranfurlie side overcame our opponent's home-course advantage to win the final group fixture against Patterson River 4-3 last Sunday.

The win means Ranfurlie finish as runner's up to Berwick Montuna, with both teams promoted to division 4 in 2026, and facing each other in a play-off final for the flag on 4th May at a neutral venue yet to be announced.

The team began this season in a higher division facing teams of higher caliber, and it's a credit to all that the unfailing ability to go undefeated follows recent history in which we've lost just once since March 2023.

Easter Trading Hours

Please note: Friday 25th April is ANZAC DAY which limits the sale of alcohol until after Midday.

This Saturday 19th April - 2 Ball Ambrose Event

This Saturday over the Easter break, Ranfurlie will be hosting a special 2 Ball Ambrose event with 2 teams in each group playing in a group of 4. Teams will play Ambrose format, with handicaps divided by four. Daily Handicaps will be used off the white tees for men and red tees for women on the day with no handicapping, with manual entry sheet, manual scorecards therefore no use of MI Score App for this event.

For groups of three, a separate 3 Ball Ambrose competition will be a separate ball run, however, the main event will be focused on the 2 Ball format. We kindly ask all players to make every effort to organise themselves into groups of four for the day.

Between 10am and 3pm this Easter Saturday, members can enjoy a sausage in bread with toppings, collected from the Sports Bar - one per member.

Driving Range Closed Wednesday 23rd April for Maintenance

Members please note with a short week next week, the driving range will be closed on Wednesday 23rd April until 10am for necessary maintenance and manual ball pickup requirements.

My Golf - Come & Try Free Girls Clinic - Friday 18th April

Thanks to the support of Golf Australia and the PGA, Ranfurlie Golf Club is excited to offer a free clinic for girls aged 6 to 15 on Friday 18th April (4pm to 5pm).

TWO SESSIONS AVAILABLE

  • 3pm–4pm 2 Spots Available
  • 4pm–5pm **FULLY BOOKED**

This fantastic initiative aims to inspire and encourage young girls to get involved in the game of golf. The clinic will be led by our Head Teaching Professional, Jack Cox PGA.

Ladies save the date - In the spirit of raising funds for a cause that touches us all, and as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beautiful Ranfurlie Golf Course, we invite women of all golfing abilities to join us on Wednesday, 21st May for a fun and inclusive Ambrose golf day.

  • Memorial cards for sale in honour of loved ones

Current Members may lodge a written objection to any application, addressed to the Golf Services Manager, Andrew Bourne abourne@ranfurlie.com.au

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

If you have new payment details to update, or you are having financial difficulty please contact membership early to assist at.

We ask that members please be aware that paying your invoices online subjects you to a small surcharge of 1.65% plus 0.55c. If you wish to avoid this fee, you can pay your invoices in person at the Pro Shop or over the phone.
