We're pleased to share an update on our membership structure as we continue to ensure that Ranfurlie Golf Course remains an exceptional experience for all our members.
Our club has reached the capacity set by the Board for 7-day access members. This number was carefully determined to ensure that every eligible member have the opportunity to secure a Saturday tee time. While it may not always be your preferred time, we are pleased to confirm that no member who has requested a Saturday tee time over the past 12 months has missed out. Over the past two months, we have carefully monitored our tee sheets and found that, on average, up to 30 spots remain available each Saturday. As a result, and with fewer tee times available during the cooler months, the Board has introduced a waiting list for new 7-day access memberships.
Additionally, we are introducing a new "Ranfurlie 7" access membership category. This category better reflects the true value of 7-day access to a top-tier private course, with an annual fee of $3,500 and a one-time joining fee of $1,000. New 6-day ("Ranfurlie 6") and 5-day ("Ranfurlie 5") memberships will also be adjusted accordingly, set at 80% and 60% of the 7-day rate, respectively.
Importantly, these changes do not impact our current members. Thanks to the ongoing financial support from Amstel Club, all existing members will continue to enjoy their current membership rates, subject to CPI increases, for as long as they remain members of the Club.
If you're considering a change in your membership category, you're welcome to upgrade or downgrade for a small administrative fee of $100, while continuing to benefit from the same rates as existing members in your chosen category. Please note that there is a priority waitlist for current members wishing to upgrade to 7-day access, which applies across all membership categories-from Lifestyle to 6-day access members-before any new applicants are considered. We are also closely monitoring Sunday tee times to ensure our current members continue to receive priority access.
The Board is continuously reviewing membership levels, structure, pricing, and facilities to ensure we provide the best possible experience while maintaining our strong commitment to supporting existing members. As part of this ongoing process, range usage and warm-up facilities are currently under review and may be subject to future changes.
