Dear Member,

Attention Members

Please be advised that on Thursday, 16th January, and Friday, 17th January, contractors will be carrying out line marking works in both the bottom and main Ranfurlie car parks to update the parking lines.

While the works are expected to commence early morning, there may be disruptions to parking availability on these days. Signage will be in place to guide patrons to available parking spaces.

Kindly note that these works are weather-dependent and will proceed only under favorable conditions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Last Ace for 2024

Trent Verhagen achieved a stunning Hole-in-One on the 7th Hole on the last Tuesday of 2024. In recognition of his accomplishment, he has been awarded a special Hole-in-One cap, a bottle of St Hallett’s wine, and an official St Hallett’s Hole-in-One certificate.

And to add to this to kick off 2025 in style on last Saturdays Medal competition, Gold Member Geoff Hibberd aced the 3rd Hole. Also receiving his gifts courtesy of St Hallets wines. Well done

School Holidays Junior Clinics - Next Week

These school holidays, get the kids involved in a Junior Clinic at Ranfurlie. Designed to provide a fun and engaging introduction to golf, the clinics help young golfers learn from experienced coaches, develop strong fundamentals, and sharpen their skills on the course.

Dates: Tuesday, January 14 & Wednesday, January 15
Time: 2-hour sessions covering range practice, short game, and putting
Cost: $59 per child
Clubs Provided: Available if needed

Mixed Foursomes Online Entry opens this Friday 10th January.

This popular event begins on Sunday, 9th February, featuring midday timeslots arranged in a seeded draw. It's a fantastic opportunity for our members to connect, with many of our women participants eager to pair up and compete alongside our male members, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition.

Entries can be submitted through our online timesheet, which becomes available this Friday, 10th January. Be sure to secure your spot early, as the entry window will close on Friday, 31st January. Once entries close, a seeded draw will be carefully prepared to ensure an exciting and balanced competition.

Mixed Foursomes Conditions of Play

Club, Senior & Junior Scratch Championships online entries close next Friday 17th January.

Following the deadline, a seeded draw will be created, and participants' names will be added to the timesheet for Saturday, 1st February 2025.

As in previous years, the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds for the Club, Senior, and Junior Scratch Championships will feature a seeded draw starting at 12 midday once entries have closed.

Bunker Rake Placement Reminder

Members and guests are reminded to replace the rake back into the centre of the bunker after raking. Please avoid leaving the rake on the edge of the bunker, as shown in the example to the left. This ensures fairness for all players. Thank you for your cooperation.

New Match Play Competition Rules for 2025

With the Club Championships approaching Round One, we remind members that starting in 2025, Ranfurlie will introduce a new manual scorecard featuring the universal index. This update aligns with the standard match play format. Members participating in match play must use these specific scorecards.

We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with the updated match play rules, which are available on the Ranfurlie website under "Conditions of Play." Reviewing the full conditions of play is highly recommended to stay informed about all competitions and policies.

Member Benefits

Members are encouraged to take advantage of the many incentives available when purchasing through the club. For Example, did you know that for every $334 spent, members receive a $10 pop-up voucher credited to their account for future use?

Additionally, all member competition prizes are automatically added to their member prize account; exclusions on these credits are they cannot be used for gaming or for paying for competition or member subscription fees.

The club is also pleased to announce an extension on the expiry date of all prize winnings from 12 months to 36 months.

Gold and Junior Members Range Benefits

We'd like to remind all members that discounted pricing on Driving Range balls is available seven days a week. Additionally, members who pay the $5 or $3 club competition fees may request one small range bucket ticket at the pro shop counter when registering.

Gold, Corporate, and Full Junior members enjoy the following additional benefits as part of their membership:

Before Competitions: Like all members, they can request a small bucket ticket prior to playing in competitions.
Daily Benefit Until 1 PM: Up until 1:00 PM each day, Gold members can request complimentary small bucket tickets one at a time by presenting their membership card.
Single Ticket Policy: Gold, Corporate, and Junior members are reminded to request tickets one at a time and refrain from asking for multiple tickets simultaneously. Please be respectful to staff in this regard.
Afternoon Bonus: After 1:00 PM, Gold, Corporate, and Junior members can request one additional range bucket ticket of any size, but only once per day in the afternoon.

Please remember, these benefits are privileges, not entitlements. Any misuse of the system or disrespect towards staff may result in disciplinary action.

These Range balls are for personal use only, and not to share with friends, family or playing partners.

Fridays & Saturdays: Open until 1AM
Sundays: Open until 10:30PM

Rain or shine, our floodlit, fully covered range is perfect for late-night practice or a fun night out. Plus, the sports bar will be open late to keep the good times rolling.

Current Members may lodge a written objection to any application, addressed to the Golf Services Manager, Andrew Bourne abourne@ranfurlie.com.au

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

If you have new payment details to update, or you are having financial difficulty please contact membership early to assist at.

We also ask any members that have a fitted pacemaker device to please also contact Renae in Membership to create a list in the event of a Defibrillator required.
