After a whirl wind Saturday with the semi final being called off due to heat, the semi final was moved to Sunday morning at Ranfurlie meaning one team would have to play up to 36 holes. Fortunately, after a one hour rain delay our boys did the job 4.5 - 1.5 in the morning against Woodlands GC to give themselves a chance at the final.  

With the other finalist Yarra Yarra only having to play the afternoon, our boys pushed through the weather and proved they had the stamina to win the final an amazing 6-0! 

All 9 of our players were part of this win with a special thanks going out to Karl Schneider for managing match days throughout the season. And special shout out to Rikau Carlyon, Mokena Mahuta & Jack Schneider for going through the season undefeated in their respective matches.

Ranfurlie Fancy Attire Day Returns this Saturday 30th November!

Get ready for a fun-filled day of golf and festivities with our Fancy Attire Day!

• Format: Standard Team Ambrose in groups of 3 or 4.
• Handicapping: None! It's all about enjoying the day.

From 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, enjoy a sausage sizzle in the alfresco area.

Members Survey 2024

The Board is delighted to share the results of the survey of members conducted earlier in the year. They would like to thank all those who participated. They also note the pleasing results regarding our House and Pro Shop Staff. The results have been discussed at board level and some suggestions will be implemented in due course.

Members Lounge Dress Regulations update

Members are advised of an update to the Dress Regulations for the Members Lounge, effective immediately. We kindly ask that you respect staff if you are directed to relocate to the Sports Bar due to non-compliance with these requirements. Below are the updated Dress Regulations for sitting or standing in the Members Lounge.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Friday of Ranfurlie Member and Past Board Member John Edwards. 

Our thoughts go out to his friends, family and playing partners at this difficult time.

Attention Members: Protect Your Golf Bags from Crows

It has come to our attention that the local crows outside the Ranfurlie Pro Shop have been attacking members' golf bags with increasing frequency. These cunning birds are on the lookout for easy snacks and won't hesitate to rummage through your belongings.

To help prevent these pesky intrusions, we kindly ask all members to take the following precautions:

• Ensure all golf bags are zipped shut when left unattended.
• Safely store all food and drinks out of sight, as open or visible items are a primary target.
• Be mindful of where you place your belongings while on or near the course.

Your cooperation will help keep your gear safe and the area tidy while discouraging the crows from returning for a feast.

Current Members may lodge a written objection to any application, addressed to the Golf Services Manager, Andrew Bourne abourne@ranfurlie.com.au

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

If you have new payment details to update, or you are having financial difficulty please contact membership early to assist at.

We also ask any members that have a fitted pacemaker device to please also contact Renae in Membership to create a list in the event of a Defibrillator required.
