The Countdown is on until Golf Premier League begins!

Round One: Saturday July 6 - GET YOUR TEAM IN NOW

It's time to get serious: bring your playing partners together and form your Premier League team, complete with a team name!

GOLF PREMIER LEAGUE AT A GLANCE: 

  • A great club team event getting all members involved in the fun, while playing your own individual competition week in week out.
  • Open to 7 Day members with only Saturday competition results counting towards matches. (E.G. if a Gold member plays on a Sunday not Saturday that Sunday score does not count) - I.E. Not available to silver or bronze members. 
  • Teams of 7 with a minimum of 6 compete against rival teams with an entry fee for the season of $50 per player payable in full at time of registering the team. 
  • Once signed up, there is nothing more the player needs to do. Weekly updates on results and a league ladder will be provided after each week with team banter and sledging expected. 
  • Season will run depending on the number of teams that enter being a maximum of 12 teams.

Joseph Wren Shield - Mixed Event this Sunday 9th June

This event is open to mixed couples to enter... but with a twist! Pairs need to go in the Daily Competition as normal, while also adding their two names to a manual Joseph Wren entry sheet. Mixed Couples can play anywhere on the timesheet for this revised event as it does not affect your singles competition.

Please view the conditions of play and look out for the entry sheet on the day to enter.

 Winners names in the board event will be inscribed on the Shield!

Limited Winter Tee Times

As we venture into winter, members are reminded that we have limited tee times available from 7:30 AM to 12:45 PM particularly on weekends. When you need to cancel a booking, please do so as soon as possible by removing your name from the timesheet or contacting the Pro Shop to assist you. If you are unable to secure a tee time, remember to use the waiting list feature on the timesheet system. The booking system is randomized to ensure all members have an equal opportunity to book their groups. Please stay patient and always be respectful of the staff.

Seniors Knockout entry sheet is out now! Entries close this Friday 7th June.

Members 55 and older, please note the Seniors Knockout sheet is now available to put your name down for this midweek event. There are limited spaces available, so please be sure to jot down your name if interested.

Hole in One

Congratulations to Mark Halas for acing the 7th Hole last Saturday off the White Tees.

Mark picks up a nice St Hallets bottle of wine, Callaway cap and Certificate for his efforts.

Kings Birthday Open Event - This Monday 10th June

*Afternoon tee times available!*

Ranfurlie's annual 'Open Tournament' will once again be held on the King's Birthday Public Holiday, on this Monday June 10th. This event carries great prizes including novelty NTPs and Longest Drive challenges. The cost for members will be kept at just $15, with Lifestyle members paying this fee plus their normal 18 Hole Green fee. 

Members can also invite a guest for $65. All competitors will need an official Golf Handicap with the competition on the day being an Individual Stableford. 

The field is filling fast so please contact the golf shop on 9788 8288 to make your booking. Payment at that time will be required to secure your booking.

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

Ladies Interclub Round 2

A great start to Interclub today! We were lucky with the weather and had a great day out at Southern Golf Club. Toni was our only winner with Jytte halving her match. Liza, Judy and Els had close matches from very good opposition from Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Thanks to Steve, Blake, Marlene, Lei and Sharon for caddying for us and thanks Marlene for being our photographer.

Amstel Club Wrap Up

It has been a busy few weeks across at Amstel Club.  

Our bistro has seen a change with a new $15 seniors meal offering, an abundance of weekly specials and new drinks available in our bars. Our revamped menu has so many choices from steaks, to pasta's to Parma's and so much more. 

Enjoy a cocktail (or two)? Our courtyard is the place to be on Friday nights with our cocktail and tapas events from 6pm till late. 

The sports bar continues to showcase all the AFL matches, along with the current NBA finals and soon the NRL state of origin will be playing to what will be a packed crowd in the coming weeks. 

Don't forget that Ranfurlie members receive a discount on all food and beverage items at Amstel.
