Medal of Medalist Winners 2024

The new Medal season begins from this May, and caries through until April 2025.

Ranfurlie Cup Qualifying This Saturday

Full 7 Day members please note the Ranfurlie Cup qualifying will be held this coming Saturday, with the top 4 scores competing the following Saturday at Midday in the Match play Semi Finals. The finalists are to play the week after. A 'tick box' selection will be available to opt in to if you are available for the following 2 weeks. Lifestyle members can play the daily competition however are ineligible to participate in the Ranfurlie Cup (being a Board event).

This Thursday 9th May, 4BBB Using the MiScore System

The club has adopted the online MiScore System this year for 4BBB events as opposed to manual cards and entry. This comes with certain requirements that must be followed.

  • If you happen to be in a group of 3, the low marker in the group is automatically set as the swinger, this can not be changed by staff.
  • If you are a group of 3, all 3 players must either be on the app or all used the printed card. The system does not recognise a mix of both.
  • If in a group of 4, Cell 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are automatically matched, however the arrangement can be changed at registration if traditionally balls are thrown up to determine partners. This is why you see all 4 names to verify your partners. 

The Pro Shop staff are here to help, so please let them know if you need any guidance on these 4BBB Days.

Digital Guest Passes for Gold & Corporate Members - Bay Golf Cards now available from Pro Shop

Please be advised that Ranfurlie Golf Club are transitioning to digital guest passes. For Gold and Corporate Memberships that were due on April 1st, golf passes have now been electronically added to your member account and can be redeemed at the golf shop counter. For members who joined in a rolling membership year, your current physical passes will be honored until their expiry, at which time you will also transition onto the new digital system. Please note, guests are allowed 6 days a week from Sunday PM to Friday.

Bay Golf reciprocal Cards for the 2024/25 season are now available form the Pro shop to collect for all full 7 Day members.

Course Care & Etiquette Reminder

Members are reminded of some basic course care which takes less than a minute to complete, along with etiquette around the Golf Course and Clubhouse including the Members Lounge. It is also a reminder that the low marker in the group is responsible for the group in following the rules of play and course care.

  • It's your golf course and ground staff take great pride in preparing the course in the best condition possible day in day out for you - Please help them out by Raking Bunkers, repairing pitch marks and filling divots at all times.
  • Tee times arrival must be at least 10 mins prior to your tee time to avoid players missing out on a game.
  • Reminder on golf rules that you have 3 mins to look for your ball, then you must proceed. If your group is struggling, let the group behind through to keep the speed of play moving. 
  • Always Call "Fore" if your shot his heading towards a group of golfers ahead.
  • If you have booked and intend on not playing, please try to delete your name at least a couple of days prior to game day to give a fellow member the opportunity of a tee time. 
  • Therefore please refrain from leaving your names on the timesheet to the day of event, knowing you were not coming to golf.
  • When enjoying the members lounge area, please refrain from loud or offensive language or behavior. Be mindful of other patrons and possibly children in other areas of the venue that may hear you.
  • Please refrain from wearing basic thongs including casual beach footwear in the members lounge, with proper dressed sandals acceptable.
  • When playing a 4-5 hour round of golf, please do not park in the Driving Range Car Park which is clearly marked, if there are no spots available in the main car park, please use the overflow area.
  • Always respect the staff with the utmost respect as they do to you in serving every day.
  • Be patient, understanding, thoughtful of others and most importantly enjoy your memberships at Ranfurlie.

Jack Ash Trophy - Sunday May 26th

OPEN TO ALL FULL MEMBERS, GUESTS AND LIFESTLYE MEMBERS

This annual board event is back for 2024, revamped allowing all full members the opportunity to win the Jack Ash Trophy except Lifestyle members and guests who can participate in all other prizes. It will be a fantastic opportunity for all members to get together for a fun game of golf full of novelties out on course, followed by dinner, dessert and a few drinks to discuss how the days game went. 

Breakdown of this event:

  • Date and Time: Sunday, May 26th, with tee times available from 12 PM on a separate online timesheet open now, and be sure to click through to the dinner table settings for after golf..
  • Participants: Open to all Full members (Bronze, Silver, Gold, 18-25, 26-35, Life, and Lifestyle) are welcome.
  • Format: Individual Stableford event.
  • Jack Ash Trophy: The best score of both men and women will win the Jack Ash Trophy. All Full members are eligible, including age groups, juniors, and corporates. Lifestyle members can play but are not eligible for the Jack Ash Trophy.
  • Entry: Participants must attend the dinner as well.
  • Conditions: Full members (Gold, Silver, Bronze, including age groups, juniors, and corporates) can play without green fees on this special Sunday. Lifestyle members can participate by paying their normal green fee but can't win the Jack Ash Trophy.
  • Dinner: 2 Roast Meat selections for dinner in a 50/50 format, followed by dessert.
  • Pricing: Members Golf and Dinner is $35, Dinner only for partners (Non-Golf) is $30, Members Guests $50 including Dinner, Lifestyle $45 including dinner.
  • Booking: Bookings can be made starting from Friday, April 19th, with all payments due by Friday, May 17th.

New Locker Update

New lockers in 2 sizes large (displayed to the right), have been installed in the Women's locker rooms.

It is now time for our Male Members to start removing items from your old lockers and taking your padlock off your lockers. Any new members please refrain from claiming an old locker and putting a new lock on it, as the Men's Lockers will be arriving in a few weeks.

Please contact the pro shop to register yourself a new locker by signing a form and a Bond will be payable of $50 (either size) via Cash, Eftpos or Credit Card. This money will go to the Junior Foundation. At the end of use Refunds will be available if Locker is kept in same

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.
